Set week: w/c Mon 29th February
Easter Experience: Mon 7th March – Friday 18th March
Hope Central Open Day: Sat 19th March

I know that it only seems two mins ago that we were up to our necks in presents and glitter and all things Christmasy but Easter is fast approaching. In fact, it is only 6 weeks until it is our set up week for the Easter Experience at Hope Central, not that I’m panicking at all! We would love to welcome new people on the team this year. Would you like to try your hand at acting? You wouldn’t have to commit to the whole two weeks and no experience necessary just enthusiasm. Or if acting is not your thing but you do have some time then please come and see me and be part of this year’s Easter Experience!

Schools Work
This term we have two After School Bible Clubs running, one in West Heslerton School and the other in Settrington School. In both of these we are looking more closely at the Lord’s Prayer. Jessie Stewart, our Schools Children’s Worker, is also busy with some assemblies already booked in this term, including Langton School. Amotherby School, Kirkbymoorside School and Pickering Infants School. Please prayer for Jessie, Jane Holmes, Jacqui Yard and myself as we go into the schools.

G-Force Wednesday (7-11yrs)
Hope Central 5.30-7.00
This term at G-Force Wednesday we will be looking at The Lord’s Prayer, discovering what prayer is and why it is important. We want to create imaginative and accessible ways for the children to discover God and to listen to His voice. All this with a good measure of fun, games and craft activities, so if you know of someone who would like to join us then please come along, no need to book, just turn up!

G-Force Sunday (5-11yrs)
Norton College during Sunday morning service
What things influence us?
That is the question we will be exploring on a Sunday morning for the next few weeks. We will be looking at topics including Media, Music, Heroes and School and how we are influenced by those around us. We want to encourage our children to always look to Jesus and to allow Him to be the biggest influence in their lives. Please pray for our children as they grow up in a world that bombards them with ways to dress, speak, act and think that is contrary to how God wants them to live their lives.
