Erika has been Elim Ryedale’s Resource Design and Ministries Co-Ordinator since July 2025. She is married to Steve, and they have three children together. In her spare time, Erika self-publishes fiction and non-fiction books, as well as being an avid reader.

Sara Abbey

Sara is the Church Office Manager and works in the administration office at Elim Ryedale Church Centre in Castlegate, Malton. She has been a member of the church since 1988 and on the staff team since 2013.

Sara is married to Nick, who is a local travel agent, and together they enjoy holidays abroad where she can indulge her passion for reading whilst lying on a sunbed!

Rev Steve Crosse

Steve Crosse joined Elim Ryedale Church as senior pastor in September 2024, having led churches in Guildford and Southampton, he has also served in Beeston, Nottingham and Driffield. Steve is married to Erika, and together they have a daughter, Hannah, and twin boys, Samuel and Noah. Steve enjoys spending time with people, watching boxing (please don’t hold that against him!), going for walks, occasionally hacking his way around the golf course, watching TV box sets and supporting Liverpool Football Club. Above all, Steve loves Jesus, and his desire is to see people living in the fullness of Christ and fulfilling their God given potential.
