Erika Crosse
Erika has been Elim Ryedale’s Resource Design and Ministries Co-Ordinator since July 2025. She is married to Steve, and they have three children together. In her spare time, Erika self-publishes fiction and non-fiction books, as well as being an avid reader.
Leadership Team
Along with Pastor Steve, the Leadership Team, made up of a group of elected elders, help to lead and bring spiritual oversight to the church.

Graeme Parkins
Graeme Parkins and his wife Jenny left their home in Surrey to go into Pastoral Ministry in 1971. They trained at Birmingham Bible Institute and have led churches in Wales, Scotland and Yorkshire. They have four children and ten grandchildren!
Graeme holds a bachelor's degree in theology and has served the local community as a statutory sector Counsellor, a Chaplain and Trust Manager. Through Elim, Graeme has served on the National Youth Committee, leading Elim’s European Youth Missional Teams, he’s been a District Superintendent Minister and continues to serve the North East Region with Pastoral Care for other ministers.

Mark Screeton
Mark is Executive Director for the charity In2Out, which works with young people to reduce re-offending as they leave custody. Prior to this, he worked for 18 years in humanitarian aid around the world with the Swiss-based Christian NGO Medair. He is married to Evelyne and they have been members of the church since 2017.

Jeff Bentley
Jeff and his wife Liz have been active members of Elim Ryedale Church since 2004. Over a period of 25 years, Jeff has held a number of senior positions in the financial services sector, working in and around London, Edinburgh and the North of England. Jeff and Liz, with their youngest daughter of three, moved to Yorkshire in October 1991.
After leaving the financial services sector, Jeff spent 12 years working in a supported living environment. During this time, he trained and qualified as a Psychotherapist, establishing his own practice, based in Pickering, in 2016. Jeff retired from his practice at the end of September 2024.
