Crèche
Crèche has now been running for a month and has been enjoyed by both children and workers alike. We have made heart badges and ears to name but a few activities. The aim of crèche, which we have decided to name ‘Noah’s Ark’, is to create a safe place where the youngest of children can learn about the love of God. This month the crèche will be led by Christine Parker and her team Nicky Jesse, Carol Himsworth and Emily Noble. If anybody would like to know more about the new crèche system, please speak to Denise Codling or Becky Ibbotson.
We have three teams of four volunteers who will lead our creche ministry for a month at a time and their vision has five clear aims:
To provide a safe, clean, welcoming atmosphere for children
To allow and encourage parents to leave their children and enjoy the main service
To have in place an age related programme of teaching using stories, songs, crafts etc
To inform parents of what is being taught and encourage parents to continue at home.
To provide a comfortable place for nursing mothers and their babies.
Please pray for the leaders of this ministry and all the volunteers. We believe crèche is crucial to our growth as a church, a way we can serve families and to begin to teach our children.
