Alpha is an opportunity to explore what Christians believe, designed primarily for non-church goers but also really helpful for new Christians.  We run Alpha courses regularly at Hope Central starting by asking the question: Is Christianity boring, irrelevant or untrue?  If you enjoy this you are welcome to join a ten week course exploring the meaning of life by looking at the following topics:

  1. Who is Jesus?
  2. Why did Jesus die?
  3. How can we have faith?
  4. Why and how do I pray?
  5. Why and how should I read the bible?
  1. How does God guide us?
  2. How can I resist evil?
  3. Why should I tell others?
  4. Does God heal today?
  5. What about the church?

The course is FREE and everyone is welcome. This year the course starts on Monday 19th September at 7.30pm.  If you would like to be invited to the next Alpha Launch night please send an email to our church office hopecentralatelimryedaledotnet or call: 01653 697796

Each evening starts with a meal and is followed by a talk and an opportunity to discuss and ask questions.

Youth Alpha

We also regularly run the Youth Alpha.  Again we look at the meaning of life, but with a more ‘youthful’ approach using more games, videos and interactive discussions.  If you would like more information please email the church office hopecentralatelimryedaledotnet or call: 01653 697796 and ask for Mel Benson.
